sure. The bottom picture is what I planned, I think its too busy. However if I turn the diamonds on their sides the border opens up(top phot0)...matches the effect of the quilt better
IMHO...
Now i am asking you for your opinion.
thankyou for taking the time to answer

It's a really hard decision for me Ann, but I think I'm going to go with the bottom one. I don't think you'd go wrong with either one though...
Hi! Thanks for asking... imho, I'd either go w/ the bottom choice (your original plan) or a alternating checkerboard pattern of 2 rows, which could be made of 1/2 square triangles to create the colored block which would alternate w/ the white background square. But that is just my opinion. I am sure it will be wonderful whatever you decide.

Not the top or the bottom. lol I like the bottom one if you would open it up and add a strip of perhaps a yellow or a color of your choosing to break it up. Then repeat that same round after the break:) It would be not so busy and more soothing for the eye, not to mention look more like a border.
I also meant to mention putting the color before the pattern too so it would be the quilt, a strip and then your border that you have in the second photo.
I like the bottom one better, but I agree that a colored border in between center and pieced border would be my preference.
First thought, best thought! I like the bottom border best because it points toward the center while the top one seems to point away. I like the concept of pointing to that pretty center, especially with all the white space in the quilt. Mel
I would have to say the bottom if those are the only choises. I also think a saw tooth border
I like the bottom one better - a nice red strip in between would be nice. maybe ric rac!
